After thinking it through, the decision was made. The whole team made up a plan to make it seem like it was an accident

to avoid the consequences of the terrorists. The data was then all erased, along with the back-ups and the technician

made it seem like the server was taken down by someone else. Right after they finished executing the plan, they started to

regret deleting everything as they started to consider all the time that was wasted, and how much more people were

going to suffer from the virus as a result.

Everyone in the team was unsure whether they should contact the authorities as they were still scared of the terrorists that

caused all this. They finally did call for help and an investigation on the disappearance of the data started. While

investigating, apart from the corrupted drives, they also found something that could be a lead to this incident. An intrusion

that couldn’t be traced was found and had to be investigated further by experts to get an idea of what happened. Not long

after, an anonymous person called the authorities and said that they had very important information to give them.
