Additional Smoothie Ideas:
Add Greek yogurt, avocado, cottage cheese, or almond butter for
additional protein and creaminess.
Add chopped nuts or any nut butter for the addition of healthy fats.
Vegetables that go well in most smoothies - any leafy greens,
cauliflower, zucchini/squash, frozen carrots.
Add oats as an additional source of complex carbohydrates and fiber
to keep you fuller, longer.
Additional Coffee Ideas:
Add chia seeds for additional fiber and protein.
You can swap out the milk for plain, iced green tea for additional
caffeine in most smoothie recipes.
Powdered Peanut Butter like PB2 is an excellent and easy way to
add peanut butter to your smoothie without all the additional mess.
Add Warm Spices instead of sweeteners like cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger,
and cardamon (the brain automatically associates those flavors with
sweetness so you don't have to add the additional sugar).
Add 100% cacao powder to your coffee or latte.
Add honey, maple syrup, or coconut sugar instead of traditional white
sugar.
Add coconut oil for additional healthy fats (and it also becomes a lip
moisturizer as well!).
Put hot coffee in a blender with milk of choice to make frothy.
