INNOVATIONS ADOPTED IN PASSENGER CRIME DETECTION FRONT:
Passenger reservation charts of the trains in which the crimes were committed
are very carefully analyzed to find out the names of probable offenders.
Based on the analysis of charts about the repeated travel/reservations of
suspicious persons in the guise of passengers, their future travel is being
anticipated and necessary action is being taken with the technical support of
CRIS to apprehend the culprits by intercepting their journey if required.
The gang of 4 ToPB offenders were apprehended with recovery of huge quantity
of stolen properties of passengers worth more than a crore rupees and detected
many cases and in addition number of mobile phones, Laptops were recovered.
CCTV footages are reviewed more carefully to find out the clues.
The information regarding notorious criminals involved in major offences in other
divisions are being collected and reviewed their MO.
Whenever any mobile theft cases are reported, Inspector in-charge interacts with
the victim passenger, obtains his g-mail ID and IMEI no of the stolen mobile to
identify the last location through Google Dashboard and Find my Device to
ascertain the facts related to the offence and modus operandi.
INNOVATIONS ADOPTED IN ESTABLISHMENT FRONT:
Office management using
Kaizen tools has been
adopted i.e, 5 S has
implemented in RPF field
units i.e (Sort, Set in order,
Shine, Standardize &
sustain). This has made RPF
field units as the most
organized office units.
One Garden in each post under green initiative has been implemented which has
resulted in improvement of the image of force and mental peace of the staff.
SPECIAL INITIATIVES ADOPTED IN STAFF WELFARE FRONT:
RPF staff having SBI salary account have converted their SBI account into Para
Military Salary Package account.
Left over staff having accounts in other banks were advised to shift their salary
accounts to SBI to avail the benefits under the said scheme.
Enrolment of all the staff of HYB Division in Insurance Scheme under PMSBY
and PMJJBY completed.
Enrolment of staff in UMID has been completed and medical cards were issued to
all the staff of HYB division.
All RPF Posts have been provided with 04 wheeler for their mobility.
