(1) Prior checking of availability of items in GeM Portal.
(2) Compulsory Requirement of HSN code of the item at the time of offer and
Purchase order are being released along with HSN code.
(3) For common available items a clause is being added that minimum of MRP
Or all Inclusive rate of Purchase Order only will be paid.
(4) Images of scrap lots are being attached with the catalogues facilitating
Bidders across the country to have a view of the lots. Due to this money and
Time of bidders is saved. Competitiveness in bidding is increasing.
(5) Initiated cases for paperless procurement, on a pilot basis.
