RPF Barracks at KCG & KRNT stations have been upgraded with all amenities
like washing machine, AC, RO water purifier, Shoe shine machine, oven, fridge,
iron box, stand, TV etc on par with running rooms.
OTHER INITIATIVES ADOPTED:-
Community policing meetings and Passenger Awareness programmes are being
regularly conducted/organized at major railway stations and the feedback /
suggestions are being reviewed and implemented to enhance the security in
Railways.
Special drives to create awareness among Schools/Madarasas and local
residential areas nearby the railway tracks regarding dangers of stone pelting has
been conducted. Flexi boards containing photos of injured and awareness
message in Telugu, English &Urdu are being displayed at black spots to create
visual impact.
Queue system is being maintained at Kacheguda railway station for the facility of
passengers travelling in general compartments to avoid any untoward incidents,
seat cornering and theft of passengers‟ belongings etc
Apart from this, photos as well as videography is being taken with digital cameras
daily in general coaches.
Ever since the beginning of this initiative, no drugging incident has been reported
in HYB Division.
INNOVATIVE MEASURES ADOPTED FOR CREATING AWARENESS AMONG
PASSENGERS & GENERAL PUBLIC THROUGH SHORT FILMS/AUDIO VISUAL
DISPLAY BY RPF/HYB-DIVISION:-
05 short films / audio visual display modules prepared in trilingual i.e Hindi,
English & Telugu by HYB-Division to imbibe the knowledge in local language for
railway passengers and public about the repercussions with the incidents in/on
trains on the following themes with end note messages of GM/SCR, DRM/HYB,
IG-PCSC, ADRM & Sr.DSC/HYB: (1)Trespass (2)Stone Pelting (3)Security Help
Line 182 (4)Child Rescue (5) . Alarm Chain Pulling (ACP).
All the above audio visual clippings have been widely publicized in the available
social media.
“ MERI SAHELI” INITIATIVE IN 02 TRAINS ( 02785 & 02794) BY RPF/HYB DIVISION :-
As per the directions of Railway Board and Headquarters, in order to ensure
better safety and security of women passenger travelling alone in trains, a
program called “MERI SAHELI” has been launched by Sr.DSC/HYB on
21.10.2020 at KCG station for Tr.No. 02785 ( Ex: KCG-MYS) which is originating
from KCG by nominating a dedicated team of women officer and staff of RPF (01
Women SI + 03 women staff ). Further, this initiative has been extended to one
more train from November,2020 for Tr.No.02794 (Ex-NZB-TPTY) which is
originating from NZB station. The nominated women officer and staff personally
interact with the women passengers travelling alone in the above mentioned trains
