Ted Quant
Former Director
Twomey Center For Peace through Justice Loyola University New Orleans
Ted Quant is the former director of the Twomey Center for Peace at Loyola University New Orleans. The Center, now the Center For Justice at Loyola University, provides training in leadership development and conflict resolution to Inner-city Programs for Youth. Ted has a long history as an activist against police brutality and the death penalty. Before and after Katrina, he advocated for housing and the rights of the poor of New Orleans.
Sue Rahr

Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission
Sue Rahr began her 33-year career with the King County Sheriff’s Office as a deputy in 1979 and for 25 years worked her way up through the ranks until she was elected Sheriff in 2005. She served as Sheriff for seven years, retiring in 2012. In April of 2012 she was appointed Executive Director of the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission where she is responsible for training all city and county law enforcement and corrections officers in the state, as well as many other criminal justice professionals. In addition to her work in Washington State, Director Rahr served as a member of the “Executive Session on Policing” at the Harvard Kennedy School from 2011-2014; served on the “President’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing” in 2015; serves in an advisory capacity with numerous national police reform organizations, including the Council on Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement Action Partnership, and Law Enforcement Leaders to Reduce Crime and Incarceration.
