KERALITE
2018
My daughter
my pride
rough the years, you have grown up to be a beautiful little girl,
You are so funny, caring and loving,
You make my life worth living.
You teach me something new every day,
rough your eyes I see the world in a different way,
Sreeja Sreekumar
You have taught me what it means to love selflessly,
You are so dear to me I love you selfishly.
I see in you, a reflection of me
Your personality is so charming and you are so loving,
I’m so proud you are a part of me.
You do so many thoughtful things,
You have a way of lifting my spirits,
You fill our home with cheer.
You're growing so fast it sends me a twirl,
With hazy eyes I ask, “where’s my little girl?”
e next few years will so quickly fly,
With laughter and joy, mixed with a few tears to cry.
As you begin your growth to a lady, this fact you must know,
You'll always be my source of pride, no matter where you go.
Stand proud and dignified and feel no fear
For you, I will always be here.
