Coupling Up and Uncoupling Trailers (ARTICS)
Reverse up to the trailer and directly in line with the trailer headboard
then stop short.
Check the height of the 5th wheel in relation to
the trailer height and adjust its height if
necessary. Lower the 5th wheel below the
trailer. Check for enough grease on the 5th
wheel check the 5th wheel locking handle is
pulled out and the safety clip is easily accessible
Note a. Apply the vehicle handbrake, turn off the engine, and use 3 points
