Coupling Up and Uncoupling Trailers (ARTICS)

Park the vehicle and trailer on legal and level ground then level the suspension

Note:

Apply the vehicle handbrake, turn off the engine, use 3 points on contact to climb out of

the cab, close the door ad ensure you are wearing the correct PPE

Apply the trailer parking brake by pulling the red knob out

(towards you) you may now hear a rush of air

Note. It is extremely important that the trailer brake is checked and in an on (pulled) position at RASSoW - 04Q
