This procedure is only for drivers who have trailers without a front door in
the trailer headboard.

Once the vehicle has been tipped.

If you decide to clean out product from behind the internal moving headboard.

1. Keep the rear of the vehicle (or the complete
vehicle) inside the tipping shed. (See fig A) figure B
2. Do not use this procedure in windy conditions or
whilst outside of a tipping shed. figure A
3. Ensure you are wearing your normal PPE. This will
also include hard hat & gloves.
4. Ensure the rear trailer doors are both secured
back, and the securing handles are in a 12 O’clock
position. (See fig B)

Using the external or internal ladder provided and 3 points of contact, climb into your trailer and
hook up your headboard mat onto the door hooks. (See fig C) and then carefully climb
down your ladder to ground level.
