Mid UK Recycling Driver Risk Assessment & Safe System of Work
Drivers are to ensure that they report all defects with the vehicle and body. If the tipping
body for any reason becomes inoperable the driver is NOT to climb in between the vehicle
and the body to rectify an issue. He is also to ensure that he monitors the area to prevent
others from climbing between the body and vehicle until assistance arrives. The driver is to
call the transport office and inform the transport office who will deploy mechanical repair
“NO CLIMBING IN BETWEEN THE BODY AND THE TIPPER”
