Located in the front of the vehicle is the towing eye.
Drivers are to be aware that if the towing pin is not seated correctly then it may
cause damage to the eye. Ensure the pin locks into position
Notes and Summary to the 8-wheel tipper
1. Always ensure the Danger Zone Risk Assessment (DZRA) area is
clear of vehicles, plant, and Staff before tipping.
2. Keep the weighbridge/operators informed of what is happening.
3. If the load sticks never try to dislodge it by shunting the vehicle.
4. Keep 3 points of contact when climbing in and out of your vehicle.
5. Always walk around the front of your vehicle prior to opening the
second rear door.
6. Always wear your 5 pieces of PPE in the correct manner.
7. Remain inside the vehicle during the tip.
8. Ensure you wear your seat belt during the tip.

9. If mechanical failure occurs with the tipper body DO NOT climb

between the tipper body and the vehicle to rectify the problem,
wait for assistance
