     Important NOTES on Skips to Drivers:                                   (Page 2 of 3)



       ➢ All nets are to be fully secured to the vehicle when the skip is

             loaded. Use bungie cord.

       ➢ The driver must take caution when stacking skips from the vehicle.

       ➢ If skips do get stuck together whilst picking up a skip from a stack
             DO NOT use any implement that is not issued by the company such as bars, hammers,

             or poles to separate the skips apart. Contact the office.

       ➢ When stacking skips the driver MUST bear in mind about the driver who may collect that skip.

             Never stack a skip in any other manner than the way you would expect to find a skip yourself.

       ➢ The driver must NOT leave a skip on the main road without flashing lights, and a minimum of 2

             traffic cones and a PERMIT.

       ➢ Any damaged skips identified by drivers must be phoned through to the office ASAP.




                           ➢ The driver must ensure that chains are connected to the

                                skip lugs correctly so that they do not come off prior to lifting.                                                                                     HSF18
