Use of the vehicle Torque Wrench:
When connecting the wrench to the wheel nuts ensure you have a firm
footing and follow the manual handling training given. Apply pressure to
the wrench using both hands until the torque pressure has been reached,
and the wrench arm brake engages. (“click”) See image 2

Drivers Must ensure that all wheel nuts have been

torqued on for a 3 time & the yellow tag signed.
ONLY WNR yellow tags are exempt.
(Wheel Not Removed)
When the process is completed, the driver must
annotate the use of the torque wrench on the driver’s
daily inspection report sheet and the yellow tag. HSF18
