Always something in the oven

Joyselyn is a wiz in the kitchen. She studied and has learned just about everything there is to

know about baking all kinds of bread; Sourdough, Einkorn original wheat recipes, and pizza

dough. You name it, and there is a chance she has baked it. The refrigerator is full of starter

mixes that she lovingly nurtures and feeds. When she pulls anyone of her creations out of the

oven, it becomes a Masterpiece for your taste buds. She is passionate about it. She always told

me about her discoveries, bread-making history, and the critical handling of starters and dough.

It all must be natural; nothing is ever easy, I know; it is one of the many times watching her in

that element that I find myself secretly tearing up. She is a beauty to watch. The scent of her

and the bread is so wonderful. Many times, she catches me watching, and there is that smile.

The smile always made up for the disaster she left me to clean up. I do the entire kitchen

cleanup. Never need to be asked, and when she wakes to a new day, her kitchen is just as bright

and fresh,

and I get a little credit for that new morning smile!
