Message from Principal

Dear Readers,

Welcome to the digital edition of Cornice magazine. Since everything else went
online this academic year, we decided that Cornice should too.

is opened up new opportunities for creativity among students. Each grade could
bring out its own magazine and play with di erent design and content ideas.
Teachers could plan out the magazine with their students and come up with unique
formats. As soon as this was proposed, everyone was on board from the start in the
quintessential RBS spirit!

us Grade II brings to you Opus. Each student from Grade II Is represented in
this magazine which re ects their skill and creativity. e magazine is completely
bilingual in the true RBS tradition. Students who took key roles got the opportu-
nity to experiment with various design ideas, and I must say that the end product
looks quite exceptional.

e work of bringing out the magazine involved a lot of teamwork and collabora-
tion for the students who took key roles from assigning and editing to layout and
design. ey worked well with the mentor teachers Ms Kiran Khadga, Ms Milan
Sharma, Ms Shilpa Rimal, Ms Sussana Tamang and Ms Apsara apa and learnt
a lot in the process.

is is the rst attempt at bringing out a class-wise version of the Cornice digitally
and the team deserves a huge round of applause. ank you to Mr Chandra Dan-
gol and Mr Bir Bahadur Uperkoti and to the Coordinator Ms Jenny Manadhar for
their support.

e work of bringing out a class magazine involved a lot of learning for all particu-
larly in collaboration and teamwork. Congratulations to the Opus Team for a job
done well.
