Winter Break in Ohio, USA Memorable
Moments

The most interesting day during winter break was my Christmas Day. On Christ-
mas morning my sister, Leeyah and I found the pickle. The pickle is a family
tradition from our German ancestry. An adult hides the pickle and the children
look for it. Whoever finds it first gets to open the first present. I found the pickle.

For breakfast we had Cinnamon rolls made fresh by Grandma and Dad. Next we
started opening presents. My favorite one is my American Girl Doll from Santa.
Then we went to dinner at Aunt Karin’s. It was good. After, we opened more
presents with the whole family till late at night

My First Day in Grade II

On the first day of my online school, I was super excited to see my teachers
and friends. In the beginning, our teachers introduced themselves and then we
introduced ourselves. I was very glad to see my teachers and friends in person.
After the first class, Grade 1 to 5 had a combined assembly. Ms. Milan Dixit, our
principal, and Ms. Shanta Dixit, our director, introduced themselves. Then Ms.
Milan introduced all the unit one teachers and some of the unit two teachers.
After that we had our music class. Our music teacher Daniel Sir taught us a new
song. I enjoyed it a lot as I love singing. Then we had Nepali class. Ms. Apsara
read a beautiful story for us. After that we had one more class. In this class, we
shared and wrote a journal about “My first day of Grade Two.” My first day in
Grade Two was awesome. I was very happy and enjoyed all the classes.

I Like Physical School More

I was super excited to go to physical school. I like physical school more than on-
line classes. I felt happy when my physical school started. I enjoyed all the classes
in my physical school. I liked the PE class because we can meet and play with our
friends. My favourite class is LA class because I get to listen to nice stories. In
physical school, we learn new things every day and I get to meet my friends and
teachers every day. But when doing online classes, we can only see our friends
and teachers. We can only listen to see them. This is why I like physical school.
