her hand and started running in the forest, far away
from the monsters. I saw a lot of us, of my brothers
and sisters, running with us, and some ones falling,
probably killed but we didn’t have the time to check
and help them: the monsters were chasing us. We ran
deeper and deeper in the forest, always further of
them, of the horror they brought on our peaceful and
beautiful planet. Fortunately, we perfectly know this
forest and we are faster than them, so we managed to
distance them after an endless chase.

The sun was already high in the sky when we finally
decided to stop to rest and eat something. At this
moment we were six peoples. In the panic,
everybody ran in all the directions and we didn’t
know where the others had gone. We ate some fruits
and we decided all together to go on the other side of
the mountains, where another village were living.

After days of walking on the mountains, we finally
arrived to the other side, we just had a few hours left
to arrive at the village when Lia, who were walking
next to me, spoke for the first time since the attack:
