“I think you are right but on the one hand it would
make us extremely rich you know. And with this
money we will always have the possibility of saving
Humanity.”
The woman left the laboratory too. Dr. Sermane sat
down on a chair, took off his glasses and massaged
his temples.
“Would surely be the end of the world, he
whispered.”

The next day he went to the laboratory as usual. He
had been thinking all night about this cure for
immortality. He had thought it over so much that he
had barely slept through the night. It was the only
thing he could think about.
Everyone was already there. To work on their own.
A few days had passed after this discovery and he
was getting more and more anxious. "We cannot
show this discovery" he said to himself every day. He
was not afraid of overcoming the idea of being rich,
he was afraid that his colleagues would show it to the
world without telling him about it.
