THE TEACHER

It was a Friday and especially the day before the
winter holidays. I was just looking forward to getting
out of high school as quickly as possible. My last
course was that of English and I had the impression
that my teacher was also in a hurry; besides, for some
time it seemed strange and different but I didn’t take
it into account and didn’t trust it, only until today…

As the bell rang, I had just come down two floors at
full speed and joined the exit with all the other
students, I realized that I had forgotten to give an
important document to my English teacher. I had to
go back to class. It was 6 p.m. and it was already dark;
there were still a few students preparing to leave and
the mood had already changed; now I was alone. I
only had to cross the large courtyard and go up the
dark stairs. When I arrived at the top, I had a strange
feeling telling me to leave and I even had the
impression that someone was following me or
watching me, also I had to cross the long corridor
leading to the class; it was deep, narrow and cold,
