It is with a sense of profound respect for you who believe and act based on values that we write these
words.
The importance of value increases as long as the commitment to it,
is in the process of improving as for the individual, family, society
and all over the globe. No one can deny that there is no value
between us but on the contrary it remains silent between us, because
the very importance it has makes it possible to enlighten anyone and
wherever it thrives. Value is and gives life, light, positivity. For this
reason from the moment we discovered its importance, after a study
we did with many Albanian activists, we took the step to create
“ALVA - Albanian Values – Vlerat Shqiptare” organization. My
convictions as founder deepened, when I communicated with world
leader Richard Barrett who has studied values scientifically. Through his books each of us will
be able to understand why it's worth it to start the day based on values. Thanks to his seminars,
studies and books, we have been inspired and undertaken various initiatives organized every year
on World Values Day referring to the themes set by the World Values Day Community.
What is “ALVA – Albanian Values – Vlerat Shqiptare”? “ALVA – Albanian Values”
organization identifies, informs, promotes and cultivates the values of the Albanian people. Part
of its objectives are the inspiration and development of the individual based on values that has and
owns them, which constitute in essentially that affiliation how different but also important to be
worthy as part of a global community where everyone can contribute bringing change and
prosperity to the development of society based on values.
Why was the conference “The value of our life during difficult times & Women Values
Heroes of Covid19" held internationally? During the pandemic period I had the opportunity to
attend several international seminars, and from which I realized how many things unite us humans.
Although we are from different countries of the world we are trying to face them as easily as
possible. If violence against women still exists and this patriarchal mentality does not exist only in
Albania but also in other countries of the Western Balkans, we were encouraged to undertake the
conference with an extended participation with world leaders, activists, representatives from
Western Balkans, Turkey etc. in support of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).The
satisfaction is great because this conference will also be the first step towards the plans we have
as organization, in continuing the initiative further with the creation of an international network
based on values. Values are powerful as it is the power of women and every human being, should
be highlighted to promote the creation of bridges between people where opportunities to create
personal, social and economic development exist not only for Albania but throughout the region.
The challenge of values continues. We invite any individual, association, business or personality
etc. who believes in values to join us in our international values-based network initiative. Together
we can create new opportunities for the benefit of society and all the communities to which we
belong and surround us to have a happier future with strong credibility roots in cultivating values
in our global society. Thank you!
