man-made marvel
The preservation of the island’s flora started with
500.000 planted trees all organically in the once sandy
barren reclamation sites. It has been considered a man-
made marvel ever by the green champions.
The mangrove forest runs like a spine from the North to
South - a haven for birds, crustacea, reptiles, fish and
diverse wildlife. A bird sanctuary has been created to
preserve and grow it’s biodiversity.
