C. Applicants should have demonstrated above average scholastic performance in college based
on official transcript of records (with Special Order Number).
D. They must possess a facility of English and Filipino.
E. They should be computer literate.
*Applicants who have not taken Licensure Examination for Teachers, Library
Science and Guidance & Counseling may still be considered, provided they give their intent
to take examinations within the period prescribed for probationary appointment.
ARTICLE II
STATUS OF APPOINTMENT
Section 1 PERMANENT/TENURED
One whose term of appointment is continuous and has met the minimum
academic qualifications prescribed by the RMRPS and DepEd. He devotes his regular
working day to the school and is not teaching full-time in any other school. A
permanent/tenured faculty is any faculty who has completed three (3) years of
continuous and very satisfactory service in the School and passed the Licensure
Examination for Teachers.
Section 2 PROBATIONARY
A Probationary faculty is any full time faculty who is under a trial period not
exceeding three (3) years. During this period the employee shall be evaluated on the
basis of the agreed performance standards and if not yet licensed as teacher, should take
and pass the Licensure Examination for Teacher. His/her appointment letter/contract is on
a yearly basis and is automatically allowed to expire at the end of the Academic year
unless notified in writing by the management that he/she is rehired thirty (30) days
before the expiration of the contract.
His/her employment may be terminated anytime during the probationary period
for just or authorized cause or when the faculty fails to qualify for the teaching position
on a permanent basis in accordance with reasonable standards made known by the
employer to the employee at the time of engagement.
A probationary personnel does not enjoy the rights and privileges accorded to
permanent/tenured employees unless expressly extended by the employer.
Section 3 NON-PERMANENT
One who is engaged for occasional work and that the termination of has been
determined at the time of engagement of the personnel. Non-permanent workers may
include Substitute Teacher, Relievers, Contractual, and Agency-hired Personnel.
a. Part time faculty is the one who does not render a forty-hour residency
nor given a full load teaching assignment. He/she is not assigned any
advisory class, is not entitled to be recommended for regular status and
does not enjoy the benefits given to full time teachers.
b. Contractual staff is one who is hired for a specific project or
undertaking the completion of which has been determined.
