Discipline We are Federation Representatives of Constables, Sergeants and Inspectors rank from across the Force. All members of the Committee have received specialised training in the Police Misconduct Regulations and are able to advise on all aspects of alleged misconduct and gross misconduct. It is our strong advice that should you be served with Regulation notices advising you that there is an investigation into your actions, you should sign the document to accept service but say nothing else. Please make contact with a member of the Discipline Committee who will guide you around the regulatory requirements. If an interview is to take place, we will accompany you. If the matter being investigated is a criminal matter, we will arrange your Legal representation. We manage an effective call out rota, and you will be able to get hold of a trained discipline representative 24 hours a day, every day. The Committee meet once a month, where we discuss regulatory changes, themes and trends and share experiences. We have a good working relationship with the Professional Standards Department. The team are committed to giving you the very best advice and service.
