PRESENT SIMPLE AND PRESENT CONTINUOUS
We use the Present continuous
1. for actions happening at the time of speaking.

We use the Present simple
1. for regular events and actions
2. for facts which are always true

Time expressions
1. We normally use the Present simple with time expressions
such as usually, always, every day, never, on Sundays…
2. We normally use the Present continuous with time

expressions such as today, at the moment, tonight, now…
