The green MAP of Mindanao-one of the three major islands of the Philippines where
SKSU is strategically located is depicted as a silhouette behind the torch, flame and
rays. Since the institution is a university and is now supposedly serving not only the
people of the province of Sultan Kudarat but also to the whole Mindanao Island.
The light blue DIAMOND represent the oceans and sky which means SKSU is now
limitless and is already globally excellent and accessible.
The QUADRANGLE-the place figure with four angles and therefore has four sides,
outlines and the four-fold functions of SKSU such as Instruction, Research,Extension
and Production. It also provides and enduring and sturdy safeguard from poor
performance and a cogent cover against corruption in the university. Orange for
Instruction that resembles highest esteem and knowledge, Green for Research that
means vastness of new generated knowledge and technology, Maroon for Extension
that denotes deep feelings and desire to reach out the needy and attain its vision-
mission while the Navy Blu for Production which means abundant blessings from
Almighty God which will fully cover the university with high level of income generation.
The ANGLES of the quadrangle represents the vision, mission, goals and objectives of
the university based on its four-fold functions.
The Green BACKGROUND of the name of the university signifies great hope and life for
the university to succeed with freshness and youthful vigor of the SKSU family. While
Yellow hue resembles of that ripe lemons or sunflowers provides maturity, tolerance
and prosperity to the SKSU family.
The White Prints of SKSU and STARS denotes freedom, purity and transparency in the
transaction of SKSU.
THE SKSU OFFICIAL LOGO
All SKSU Personnel are hereby encouraged to familiarize
themselves of what this LOGO means:
1.)MINT GREEN is the color adopted for SULTAN
KUDARAT STATE UNIVERSITY.
2.) The BALL FIGURE symbolizes the Sultan Kudarat
State University system as it rolls for the growth and
development of the province, in particular, and region as
well as the country, in general.
3.) The IMAGINARY CURVE LINE portrays the well-known Allah River, which provides
the water coming from the Daguma Range to quench the thirst of sometimes sun-
parched and drought-stricken countryside.
