COMMERCIAL NEWS
Firstly, I hope that you are well and thank you for buying this programme online.
This is our first competitive game of the season – in October - and a Second
Qualifying Round FA Cup game against Winchester City from the Southern
League Division One South. Who could have predicted that!!
So much in the world has changed since we kicked off last season with a 2-0
win against Braintree Town, at Twerton Park on 3rd August and then finished
our season at Hungerford Town on 14th March, after playing 35 out of the 42
League fixtures. Prior to the play-off defeat against Dorking on 19th July, fans
helped to raise an amazing £53,000 through the Crowdfunding Appeal to
show how much this football club means to the people of Bath and surrounding
areas. Since then, we have planned for the season to start today, but as I write
these notes on Tuesday afternoon, I am not sure whether the game will take BATH CITY FOOTBALL CLUB LTD
FOUNDED 1889
