b. Comparative Degree
We use a comparative degree if
we want to show an unequal
comparison.
Please pay attention to the
following patterns and examples of
comparative degree:
(first) Subject + To be + Adjective
+ -er/-ier/more [+ than + (second) Subject]
For an adjective with one
syllable, you must add -er.
Example:
1) Damian is taller than Jessica.
2) She is smarter than them.
