1. Why you think safety first?
A safe and healthy workplace not only protects workers from injury and illness, it can also lower
injury/illness costs, reduce absenteeism and turnover, increase productivity and quality, and raise
employee morale. In other words, safety is good for business.
2. What all are the important factors for a safe operation/ Safe Sit
Following important factor for a safe operation
All Employ & worker HSE inducted & wear all PPE. Used all protective equipment as required respect of
work. Used safe work methodology .Identify hazard and awareness of work producer to all operation team.
If any incident at site to prepare emergency contact mobile no & ambulances with all equipment will to
shifted nearest hospital.
3. How are the important system by MPW to ensure safety in the site?
Good and improving gradually with teamwork
4. How you feel when you rewarded as the HSE champion?
I have proud feel rewarded as the HSE champion and will continue to give safety as priority
5. How to prevent injuries?
Daily safety meeting, reduced the amount of night work, proper safety gear, reflective or highly visible
cloth, Regular and frequency break, clear signage to warn of danger,
6. What do you feel about reporting an unsafe act / behaviour, is it right or wrong?
I feel Right because it avoids the risk of accident
7. How important is the toolbox talks?
Toolbox Talks are a practical way to remind us that health and safety is an important part of every working day
and are particularly valuable for highlighting any changes to systems or known issues.
8. How is your concern on safe working environment, welfare activities are redressed?
My concern on safe working environment we all want to work in a pleasant and comfortable environment.
Working in a positive and safe workplace will impact your well-being in a good way and give you a better outlook
on your career. It will make getting up for work in the morning a joy rather than a chore! With a little bit of work
and support from your team, you can create this positive and safe space.
9. What all are the support expected from MPW-IND management to improve HSE?
To conduct more external training for staff and workers to improve the competency
10. What is the new system / changes needed to improve the safety in the site?
Safety meetings weekly with MPW-IND staff and subcontractors to continuously monitor and take actions
on the unsafe acts/conditions, overall Health, safety, and environmental issues. Build good communication
with all the staff and workers. Required Monitoring from HO to site management
