ETIQUETTE/SAFETY

Make sure your dog is feeling well

Dogs should be clean and free of pests

Bring bags to clean up after your dog

Dogs will always remain on a leash

Let dogs get settled before you try to pet

others, this is a new setting and we don't

want them to be stressed

Don't pet another 4-H'ers dog without

permission

Keep your dog close when other dogs pass

Don't allow/encourage your dog or other

dogs to jump on you

Don't let your dog bully other dogs - nipping

or pouncing should not be encouraged

Please do not bring a dog with aggressive

tendencies (towards dogs or humans) to dog

project

Any dog that demonstrates aggressive

tendencies will not be allowed to return for

safety reasons
