A Word from Kayla
What is Your Goal?
I often tell people new to our program that 4-H is what you
make of it. We can have something for you to do several times
a week or if you decide that once every couple of months is
what you can do, there's nothing wrong with that either. In
the end, expect to get out of the program, what you put into it.
A recent conversation with a fellow agent, who also happened
to be a former intern of mine, brought up the question "What
is your goal"? Peyton told me she asks all of her 4-H'ers what
their goals are with every project. Is is to attend the project
meetings? To compete in a contest? To compete and be
successful? or maybe, is it to see friends? Whatever your goals
may be, identify them first and then we can help guide you and
point you in the right direction for your project work.
