TAG ORDERS - HEIFERS, SHEEP AND GOATS

Validation orders for:
Registered Breeding Heifers - 1 exhibitor per animal on registration papers, color copy of papers required.
***Exhibitor name must be listed, not a family farm or entity***.

Heifer Ownership Deadline October 31, 2025. All dates listed on the registration papers must be on or before
October 31, 2025.

Sheep/Goats
Lambs and goats validated during the 2025 State Fair Validation Period WILL BE ELIGIBLE for 2026 Spring Major
Shows. Market animals validated for the 2025 State Fair will carryover for 2026 Spring Major Shows. Once validated,
the project MUST stay in the care of the exhibitor that project is validated to; if the exhibitor chooses to sell the
project to a new exhibitor, the new exhibitor MUST REVALIDATE the project within the next validation period.

Market Lambs - May be validated by family
Market Goats - May be validated by family
Wether Dams - May be validated by family - validation good for 3 years unless change of ownership.
Wether Does - May be validated by family - validation good for 3 years unless change of ownership.
Registered Breeding Sheep - *** exhibitor name must be listed on registration papers, not a family farm or

ownership. Breeding Sheep Ownership Deadline October 1, 2025. All dates on registration papers MUST be on or
before October 1, 2025 or the project will be denied by the state.

color copy of papers required at time of validation - validation good for 3 years unless a change of ownership.
Breeding Boer Goat Ownership Deadline October 1, 2025. All dates on registration papers MUST be on or before
October 1, 2025 or the project will be denied by the state.

TLBA and TGBA tags must be in the ear of the lamb/goat at time of validation to be recorded.
TLBA and TGBA tags are required for sheep and goats at the San Angelo Stock Show.
NO TLBA or TGBA tag numbers will be recorded after the October 31, 2025 validation deadline.
All sheep and goat tags (market and breeding) are interchangeable. If you ordered a market lamb tag but got a
breeding goat instead you may use it to tag the breeding goat.
Registered Breeding Sheep and Goats - a hard color copy of the registration papers are required at time of
validation. Please do not email or text.
Please note, we do charge charge an additional $3/ tag to cover payment processing, purchase of validation
supplies and shipping fees for validation material.

Validation Dates:
A committee must be present in order to validate animals for major stock shows. If you cannont attend the following
validations, you need to contact me immediately (817.598.6172) so we can make arrangements with the committee.
