group may deliver to CASA
Supplies needed:
2 pieces of Fabric 11” x11” (Your Finished Product will be approximately 10 x10”)
Coordinating thread
Pins
Polyfill, enough for the firmness you prefer.
Sewing scissors
Sewing machine
Seam ripper ( a necessary evil, unfortunately )
Warm iron
Instructions:
1. Start by Cutting our Fabric to 11x11”. You need 2 pieces of fabric in this size. You can choose the
same fabric for each side, or if you want a reversible pillow, choose 2 coordinating colors.
2. Iron your 2 11” pieces of fabric, and then iron down a ¼” hem on all 4 sides( of both pieces). If you
have chosen a woven fabric or one that frays easily, you may want to go ahead and run a straight
stitch down each of these hems, just to prevent fraying later on.
3. Lay one Fabric Square down, Yucky side DOWN.You should be looking at what will ultimately be
the Outside of one side of your pillow.
4. Take your second fabric square, and laying it Pretty Side to Pretty side, Pin your 2 squares
together. You will also want to leave a 3” space, in the CENTER of one side, this will be where you
turn your pillow right side out.
