A Word from Kayla

Celebrate the Process and Celebrate Others

I am just as competitive as the next person when it comes to

my personal endeavors. Especially when it is something that I

am very passionate about and I have put in a ton of hard work.

There will however come a time (many times in fact), that you

work your tail end off and you don't come out the winner.

There are also going to be times that you just flat out get beat
by a better, more fierce competitor. This is the cold, hard

             truth.

It doesn't mean you didn't gain anything from the experience,

and that the person who did win doesn't deserve to be

             celebrated or congratulated by you.

Losing SUCKS but something worse is a sore/poor loser. Yes,

it's okay and expected to be disappointed, but make sure you

take time to recognize the strengths you gained during the

process and celebrate those who also put in the hard work and
             came out on top.
