Enhanced Phil ticketing system
is ready for new season!
Building a better customer experience.
While tickets to the new season will be announced next month, the system to purchase these tickets has undergone a
transformation.
“Our ticketing vendor could no longer support our needs,” explains Kara McEachern, the Phil’s director of operations. “So, while
the switch from one ticketing system to another was unplanned, the timing was perfect for the transition to happen while we
don’t have any concerts.”
Phil ticket buyers will discover improvements that make choosing seats and purchasing add-ons easier. “Seating charts are more
detailed and include the different sections of the orchestra which, for some, is a factor in seat selection,” says McEachern.
Additionally, the new system allows ticket buyers to add pre or post event extras, such as cocktail parties or dessert receptions,
to their cart in one transaction.
“Not only will choosing seats be easier but the venue’s layout details will make finding your seats at the concert easier too,” adds
McEachern.
