The South Shore Conservatory Youth Orchestra (SSCYO) is a program of the South
Shore Conservatory, in partnership with the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra since
its inception in 2007. Under the direction of Elijah Langille, SSCYO Program Director &
Principal Conductor, the SSCYO is an auditioned, sequential youth orchestra program
that provides an opportunity for dedicated young musicians grades 4-College a place to
perform symphonic music at a high level in a well-organized and supportive full orchestra
program. Artistic Advisor Steven Karidoyanes meets and rehearses with the students
three times a year. The senior orchestra of SSCYO joins the Phil in concert every-other
season. For more information about joining SSC Youth Orchestra, contact Elijah Langille
