With summer coming, check into your

enclosure climate control before it’s too late
Even before summertime hits, we have
already seen some good BBQ weather, with
the mercury rising and letting us enjoy the
great outdoors. Great for you, but it doesn’t
bode as well for your electrical equipment. TECHNOLOGY UPDATE
At this point in the year, there probably won’t
be any alarms on your cooling equipment and
therefore you’re mind wanders to other
important issues on your site which need
more ready attention. Climate control can
        wait… Right?
Wrong.. in fact, the opposite is true; this is
the best time of year to turn your mind to your
enclosures, carry out a climate review, and start to understand what changes or
improvements need to be made before it’s too late.

New Han modules for compressed air, energy
        storage and Ethernet

        Harting’s Han-Modular series offers
        numerous connectors which sustainably
        increase the energy efficiency of
        machines and systems. The latest
example of this is the Han 300 A
module. It fits in with the classic development goal for energy storage systems by enabling
more capacity with less weight. Today's energy storage systems often work with outputs of
200 A / 800 V DC. Future applications with higher energy density will require transmissions
of 300 A / 1200 V DC and more. The Han 300 A module is the ideal interface to meet
        these demands. WHAT’S NEW...
The M12 connector format is new to the Han-Modular® range. Two connectors, either
X- or D-coded, each fit into one module. In this way, for example, it is possible to integrate
10 Gbit/s Ethernet into a modular interface in a particularly compact, space-saving manner.
By comparison with conventional RJ45 solutions, the M12 interface is significantly more
robust. All common bus systems can be easily adapted.
