At one point, I had several oncologists on payroll, and most were taught
the conventional way of dealing with cancer by asking a breast cancer
patient, “Did your mother, grandmother, aunts or any siblings have
breast cancer?” And if the answer was yes, which statistically would be
yes, then it was determined without question that your diagnosis of
cancer was not because of any other reason
other than genetics. Then you are informed
that it was your BRCA gene passed on from
one of your ancestors that caused your
cancer. The problem with this prognosis is
that only 1 in 500 women have evidence of
mutated BRCA genes, yet 1 in 8 women will
develop breast cancer. The numbers don’t match or even come close.
Let’s clear up this nonsense of the BRCA gene!
Every human on earth, male and female, have this gene. These BRCA 1
& BRCA 2 genes are actually highly beneficial in that they repair broken
DNA to prevent tumors and cancers. However, when a BRCA gene is
mutated, it may no longer be effective at repairing broken DNA and
helping to prevent breast cancer. Because of this, people with a BRCA
gene mutation are only 5% more likely to develop breast cancer in their
lifetime.
Let us use an illustration to see the real reason why cancer is so
prevalent. Imagine “each of our bodies as its own independent
ecosystem.” kind of like a Salt Water Aquarium, reflect on this if you
will:
