Cobh Friday Friendly Cafe

The Cobh Friday Friendly Cafe will be back on Friday January 25th from 11am - 1pm at the
Great Island Community Centre. The pop-up social cafe is for people with Dementia and
their Carers, Friends and Family and takes place on the last Friday of every month.

A welcoming, friendly space with lots of tea and cakes. Free of charge. Part of the Cobh Age
Friendly Town Project and Great Island Community Forum. We ask that people with Demen-
tia are accompanied by a Carer if required.

2019 Fort 2 Fort Charity Cycle

This year’s Fort 2 Fort Charity Cycle takes place on Sunday, April 14th and will raise funds
for the Mercy University Hospital Foundation, four Cork City and County Lions Clubs, and
Camden Fort Meagher Restoration.

With 4 different routes to choose from, refreshments along the way and incredible views of
Cork Harbour, the second largest natural harbour in the world, the 2019 Fort 2 Fort Charity
Cycle is not to be missed!

Choose from our new Couch-40km route, 65km route, 85km route or 120km route. Details
and maps of each route will follow soon! We do recommend the 85 & 120km routes to the
