2.3. Removal of Club Property. Property of the Club shall not be loaned or removed
from the Facilities, orFacilities or be put to other use than that for which it was intended, except
when expressly permitted by the Board (as that term is hereinafter defined).
2.4. Damage. Members must pay for all breakage or damage to Club Facilities caused by
them, their family members, or their guests.
2.5. Property Rights. No Member or any other person shall have or acquire any property
rights or other interest in the Club or in any of the Club Facilities, except as provided in the Club's
Articles of Incorporation or these By-laws.
ARTICLE III Membership
SECTION 1 – GENERAL PROVISIONS
3.1.1. Membership. The initial membership of the Club were the Members of record of the
Valdosta Country Club as of December 15, 1995 (when the Club was reincorporated). The current
membership of the Club are the Members of record of the Club, as of the date of the adoption of
these By-Laws.
3.1.2. Classes of Membership. There are several classes of Membership in the Club as is
more particularly described in Section 3.2.1, et. seq. of these By-Laws. The Club shall maintain
records indicating the classification of each Member. The Club shall issue Certificates of
Membership to each member indicating the classification of such Member. The Certificates of
Membership shall be designated "voting" or "non-voting" according to the Membership maintained
by each member of the Club.
3.1.3. Members' Rights. The Members shall have such rights and shall be extended the right
to use the Club Facilities in accordance with the Member's Classification. The use of the Club's
Facilities, in accordance with the Member's Classification, shall be extended to such Member's
immediate family. "Immediate Family" is defined as including only the following: spouse and
dependent children or stepchildren. In order to qualify as a "dependent child or stepchild" hereunder,
said child or stepchild must be either 1) under the age of 19, or 2) under the age of 25 and a full-time
student.
Any son or daughter age thirty (30) or under, of a Certificate Member who becomes
disqualified to use the Club Facilities under this provision, may apply for any class of Membership
without the requirement of paying an initiation fee for that class of Membership. If a waiting list for
Membership exists, such son or daughter applying for Membership shall enter on the bottom of the
waiting list but may move to the top of the list by paying the full initiation fee (except for other
individuals similarly situated).
