date of death of the deceased Member, the Club may redeem the Certificate of Membership by
making payment of the redemption value thereof to the surviving spouse or representative of the
deceased Member's estate. The redemption value will be the same as provided for in sub-
paragraph (b) below. The Board may, by majority vote, allow transfer of Certificates of
Membership, upon payment of a transfer fee, which shall be no less than 80% of the then current
initiation fee for the class applied for, as set from time to time, and upon payment of all
outstanding dues, charges and assessments between a Member and his or her child or other
immediate family member.

(b) Upon the expulsion or resignation of a Member, or upon the failure, refusal, or
inability of an inactive Member to regain active status at the end of the period from which
inactivity was ordered by the Board, such Member shall, if requested by the Board, surrender his
or her Certificate of Membership, receiving redemption value in payment therefor. If such person
shall fail or refuse, after request, to surrender said Certificate of Membership, the same shall be
declared void by the Board, and $50.00a redemption fee as set by the Board from time to time
shall be sent to such person in full satisfaction of the redemption value of such Certificate of
Membership.

3.1.6. Admission to Membership.

(a) Admission to any class of membership shall be by approval of the Board.
Each person desiring membership in the Club must be proposed, in writing, by four Voting
Members to the Board of the Club and satisfy any other requirements as set by the Board from
time to time. Two negative votes by Board members shall be sufficient to disapprove any person
for membership..

(b) At the time of submission of the application and in accordance with any
payment schedule adopted by the Board, the applicant shall also submit the required fees, which,
at a minimum, shall include an amount for such member's Certificate of Membership and a non-
refundable initiation fee, for the class of membership for which the applicant is applying. Except as
otherwise provided herein, the required fees shall be determined and set by the Board from time to
time in the Board's discretion. ,. No member shall have voting status until all fees authorized
hereunder are paid in full.

(c) No applicant for admission, if rejected, may submit a second application for
admission sooner than six (6) months subsequent to the date of the rejection. If any applicant is
rejected a second time, the applicant may not submit a third application for admission sooner than
two (2) years subsequent to the date of the second rejection.

3.1.7. Membership Cards. Membership cards may be issued by the Club. Such cards shall
show the Member's name, club number and classification of membership. In addition, cards may be
issued for those persons included in the Member's immediate family as defined in these By-Laws; the
cards for a Member's immediate family shall have inscribed thereon, the name and club number of
the Member.
