Decimal Outline: This format is more detailed and uses
numbers to show the relationship between different
sections and sub-sections. It’s useful for longer or more
             complex essays.

     G. Common Mistakes in Organizing and Outlining

           1. Lack of Focus on Thesis: One common mistake is straying
away from the thesis. Ensure that every point you make
directly supports or develops your thesis.
          2. Too Many Ideas in One Paragraph: Each paragraph should
focus on a single idea. Cramming multiple ideas into one
paragraph can confuse the reader and weaken your

             argument.
          3. Failure to Transition: Smooth transitions between
paragraphs are crucial for maintaining the flow of your
essay. Without transitions, your essay may feel disjointed
             or fragmented.
          4. Neglecting to Consider the Audience: Always keep your
audience in mind when organizing your essay. Consider
how they will understand and respond to your points, and
             organize accordingly.
