EMILIA-ROMAGNA
In a country where every region is know for its food, Emilia-Romagna is considered the culinary Venturini Baldini

apex. Food comes first here; wine’s sole purpose is to enhance whatever’s on the plate. Simple, 17th century, situated in the hills
frothy, frizzante Lambrusco is what the region is know for, although more complex, artisanal between Reggio Emilia and
versions of this wine are also now making their way onto the international scene. The region Parma, producing organic
which spans almost the entire width of Italy is made up of two distinctly separate provinces. Lambrusco since 1976.

Emilia focuses on mostly frizzante wines, while Romagna focuses on still table wines. Prestia took over the estate,

UMBRIA
Indisputably located in the heart of Italy, Umbria is bordered on the west by Toscana, and the east
by La Marche. Umbria is a serene, landlocked region, one of the few in Italy to have absolutely
no coastline. Wine production is limited, especially in comparison to the surrounding regions, Arnaldo Caprai
despite that, its great gifts to the world of wine are its Grechetto grape for full bodied white wines, The family operation began in
its most well know wine, Orvieto, from Trebbiano Toscano, and especially, Sagrantino for red 1971 when textiles entrepreneur
wines. Sagrantino was for long a local secret around the town of Montefalco, but in the early Arnaldo Caprai purchased 12.5
