AUSTRIA
Austria’s wine country is divided into three parts, Niederösterreich, Burgenland and Steirmark which are then split into smaller
regions with over 112,000 acres planted. It’s producer base is comprised of small, family owned estates producing 36 official
varietals. Niederösterreich is the largest region and is known for Grüner Vetliner and Riesling as you move south to Bergenland
and Steirmark varietals such as Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch and Sauvignon Blanc become more prevelant.
