Girardin, the son of a family of

CHASSAGNE-MONTRACHET
In the southern part of the Côte de Beaune Chassagne-Montrachet shares with Puligny the uncontested title of the prince of the
world’s dry white wines: the divine Montrachet (pronounced “Monrachay”). This fine, broad hillside brings out the very highest
expression of the two Burgundian grapes. This appellation includes 55 Premiers Crus Climats
and 3 appellation Grands Crus.

Over time, by acquiring various
terroirs with great care and
patience, Bouchard Père & Fils
has built up a vast domaine in
Côte-d’Or. Today the estate
