And the current situation is no different, no church-

es, no temples, and no mosques. Literally speaking,

God is in death silence, and the spirituality of St.
Thomas calls us to follow Christ in death. In the pres-

ent scenario, we should have such a spirituality that

helps us follow Christ, risking our own lives. This is
the spirituality of COVID. When we believe, let’s not

believe simply, but let it be a deep faith which helps
us follow Christ unto his death; like St. Thomas who

had the courage to walk out while the other disciples

remained terror-stricken.
“My God and My Lord”: When this prayer arises

from the depths of our hearts, we gain more depths
- depth in faith, depth in vocation and depth in our

religious life.
