Greetings

Thanks to the hard work and encouragement of many people in both countries, We are happy to be able to hold an art
exhibition in Malatya, Türkiye, with the theme of Harmony & Joy.
Having experienced disaster damage in Pohang a few years ago, I felt even more sad and heartbroken when I heard
the news of the earthquake in Turkey.
I hope that the earthquake trauma that caused such a huge shock that could not be helped by human power will be
quickly recovered and rebuilt.

The fact that the Türkiye exhibition has been held every year without fail is because of the help of many people,
including those involved, who have looked on with affection.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the encouragement and hard work of many people who have helped in
October, 2024 various ways to vitalize and advance art culture.

Harmony & Joy
The joy of being in harmony with family, friends, and various social communities is the greatest joy.
The Korean folk paintings on display this time contain good messages and various meanings and implications. I hope
this will be a meaningful exhibition where fields collaborate and harmonize through paintings as a medium across
countries and cities.

Pohang is currently on a journey to leap forward from the city of iron to enhance the creativity of the city through
culture and arts and to regenerate the value of the city.
Art Pohang will do its best to grow into a specialized art festival that incorporates the best of Pohang, and above all, it
will grow into a beloved exhibition that is essential for the art world in both countries.
