감옥 안에서 나를 좌절시킨 것은, 인간이 자기중심적 욕망에서 벗어나지 못하는 존재라는 사실에 대한 뒤늦은 깨달
음이었습니다. 아름답고 고귀한 세상을 꿈꿀 줄 아는 게 인간이지만 인간은 또한 자신의 존재론적 한계를 벗어날 수
없기에 인간의 역사는 부조리하고 모순적입니다.
What frustrated me in prison was the belated realization that humans are beings who cannot escape their self-
centered desires. Humans are capable of dreaming of a beautiful and noble world, but humans are also unable
to escape their ontological limitations, making human history absurd and contradictory.
