After graduating from Uludağ University Education Faculty Painting Department in 1985, he completed his Master's Degree in
1991, Proficiency in Art in 1992 and PhD in 2000. He became Associate Professor in 2008 and Professor in 2017. He worked at
Atatürk University (1991-2003), Akdeniz University (2003-2017) and Istanbul Gelisim University (2017-2019). He continues to work
at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Foundation University, Faculty of Fine Arts. He participated in many national and international exhibitions,
workshops and festivals. His works are in many museums and collections.
EROL KILIÇ
Erol Kılıç is one of our contemporary artists who are trying to carry the visual language of traditional arts that have formed over time
into their plasticism, and who have intensified their work in recent years on this subject. The artist, in whom all the plastic forms of
tradition are felt in his works, is also in pursuit of experimental searches for new contemporary creations. The artist, who also has
awards, continues to work in his ateliers in Istanbul and Antalya.
