                   An  annual  culminating  event  for  Art
       Appreciation class was held last November 7, 2019,

       at  the  college  hallway  of  Southville.  Different
       students  from  Marketing,  Financial  management,
       Accounting  and  Psychology,  under  Ms.  Thelma

       Badon’s  class  showcased  their  talent  in  many
       aspects of the program and each section aimed to
       hold  the  title  for  Art  Appreciation  competition

       champion  for  that  year.  For  this  year’s  event
       theme:  ‘Christmas  in  November’,  each  section
       involved  joined  hands  to  be  prepared  for  overall

       arrangements.  A  month  before  the  event,  Ms.
       Badon  had  informed  each  class  about  the  event
       along with the activities and competitions.


                                                      The purpose of this activity was to raise funds for our

                                               countrymen  living  in  Mindanao  due  to  the  succeeding
                                               earthquakes  during  those  months,  and  to  celebrate
                                               Christmas  in  November  since  the  college  break  starts

                                               before  December.  Each  class  prepared  a  dance  troop  and
                                               singing  group  as  one  of  the  highlights  of  the  program.
                                               Moreover,  the  event’s  highlights  showcased  the  different

                                               sweet, delightful and yuletide-themed mini Christmas trees
                                               made  out  of  candies  and  sweets.  Students  prepared  such
                                               worth  buying  enticing  Christmas  trees  not  just  for  décor

                                               but  also  good  for  the  tummy.  The  event  started  early  as
                                               each  class  begun  to  prepare  each  booth  which  brought
                                               lights, colors and sweet fragrance to college hallways, along

                                               with  some  free  foods  aligned  with  their  themes.  Every
                                               Christmas booth and Christmas tree product curved smiles

                                               and students. The students also showcased their marketing
                                               talents  just  to  sell  all  their  class  Christmas  trees  and  gain
                                               big funds.
